Artemi Panarin
Can you believe that Panarin is already in the final year of the long-term contract he signed when he left Columbus in 2019? Crazy. He has six points in his last two games, with two goals against Nashville on Monday and then four assists at Tampa Bay on Wednesday.
Jackets Notes
Jet Greaves will get the start, marking his fourth in a row. I’m not necessarily complaining about it, but it’s kind of weird, right? The rotation was working well … Per Jeff Svoboda, Dmitri Voronkov, Miles Wood, and Dante Fabbro missed practice yesterday with illness but were all on the ice for practice this morning … Tonight, as part of the continuing 25th anniversary celebrations, the Jackets will welcome and honor Brandon Dubinsky, Matt Calvert, David Vyborny, Marc Denis, and Aaron Johnson. I’m particularly excited to cheer for Vyborny, who is on a very short list of “best players who spent their entire NHL career with the Blue Jackets.”
