The season series is set to wrap between these two clubs, and the Jackets have a chance to knot it at two wins apiece with a win tonight. It would also mark three straight wins, which I don’t have to tell you would be pretty unprecedented ’round these parts. If you read the preview, you may remember that it’s been basically a year. A. At any rate, no changes in the lineup tonight for Columbus, as they’re trotting out the same squad that won the first two games in this streak. The Stars are struggling a bit, with just three wins in their last 10 and a ho-hum 16-20-2 record over their last 38 games.
Brenden Morrow is out for Dallas tonight, but otherwise they come in a healthy bunch. For Columbus, Ryan Johansen is again in the press box for the fourth straight game. I am vexed.
At any rate, a third win in a row is right there in front of them. Can they take it?
