Game Thread #41 - Blue Jackets vs. Blues

It's MUST WIN time at Nationwide tonight!

Must-win.

Those words get thrown around a lot in sports, and they are only literally true maybe one-third to one-half of the time. Maybe even less than that.

But, hyperbolically speaking, tonight is a MUST-WIN GAME for the Blue Jackets. Eight games to go, still on the outside, only two more home games left; you've gotta win this one, boys.

Both teams come in on a high note, with Columbus dismantling the Sharks on Tuesday night, and the Blues rolling with three straight (road) shut-outs from Brian Elliott. Maybe luckily for Columbus, Elliott is sitting in favor of Jake Allen. Maybe not for the Blue Jackets? It's the same Jake Allen that all but shut them down last weekend in St. Louis.

Columbus gets some thunder back tonight, with the return of Jared Boll. Brandon Dubinsky should also be back, though drawing in on the fourth line as he fights back from his recurring knee injury and an earlier-week battle with the flu.

Like Death and Taxes, Sergei Bobrovsky is in net. "Now there was a haircut you could set your watch to."

Enjoy the game!
