Riding a modest two-game winning streak, the Blue Jackets return home to host the Bruins in a rare matinee start at Nationwide. Some roster changes are in place, with Matt Calvert and Nikita Nikitin taking a seat and Fedor Tyutin and Boone Jenner back in. No word on which line Jenner will see time with, but Tyutin will be back with Jack Johnson on the top defensive pairing.
The Bruins come in off a loss against Colorado on Thursday night, and this is their first road start of the season. The Jackets are returning home after two road games, and are hoping to harness another strong crowd. With no OSU football today, hopefully more folks will come out and get loud. There are sure to be plenty of Broons fans in the building, as well, so hopefully the Jackets can come out and keep them quiet.
They jumped all over Buffalo in the first period the other night, and another fast start would go a long way toward earning a huge win against one of the best teams in the league.
