The rivalry is renewed as both teams sit tied outside of the playoff picture.
So, the winner of tonight's game passes the other: the two clubs have the same record. The last time the Jackets weren't last in the division this late in a season was, well, it was a long time ago.
These two clubs are literally the two worst scoring clubs in the league: Nashville is 29th, Columbus is 30th. Should be a barn burner!
Derek MacKenzie is back for Columbus tonight, and the Predators are without a litany of players. Sergei Bobrovsky and Pekka Rinne get the nets tonight.
