Game Preview: To Hell and Back
Let’s hope for a similar result to Sunday
The New Jersey Devils and Columbus Blue Jackets meet at Nationwide Arena tonight in a rematch of the game on Sunday evening in New Jersey. The Jackets dominated that battle for a 3-0 victory. The last time they played in Nationwide, however, New Jersey won 5-1. Since that loss, the Jackets have gone 8-4-1. The Devils, on the other hand, have only won 2 of their last 10.
In NHL news, Sergei Bobrovsky was named the Second Star of the Week. He went 2-0-1 over the last week, while allowing no goals in regulation and making 87 saves on 88 shots on goal.
In roster news, Josh Anderson suffered a hyperextended right knee on Sunday and is expected to miss 7-10 days. T.J. Tynan was once again recalled from the Cleveland Monsters, and will make his NHL debut tonight.
Per Tom Reed, Markus Nutivaara will return to the lineup in place of Kyle Quincey.
