Game Preview #21 – Short Memories, Bounce Back

Blue Jackets vs. Predators – 7:00 PM
Game Faceoff

We don’t know much about the lineup tonight, as the team got home around 2:00 AM and had no morning skate. We found out that David Savard’s game misconduct was rescinded, and we also found out that Michael Chaput has been sent back to the AHL. I expect Sergei Bobrovsky to get both games at home this weekend.

Otherwise, I’m not going to spend much time breaking this one down. Nashville is good. They score. They still have Pekka Rinne. They still play fast and physical. They also probably remember those two pre-season games, which feel like ages ago. I feel about this game the way I felt about the St. Louis game, with the big difference being that the Jackets will be the ones with tired legs tonight.

They’ll need to weather the storm early, and they’ll need everybody going all out all game, as much as possible.
