The Columbus Blue Jackets played host to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night, looking to break the eight game losing streak and save their playoff hopes for another night.

Boone Jenner opened the scoring with 17:29 remaining in the first as he came out of the box and gave the Jackets the early 1-0 lead.
After 20 minutes, Columbus left the ice hanging on to a one goal lead
Second Period
Cam Atkinson potted a shorty with less than three minutes gone to make it 2-0 early in the second period.
Zach Aston-Reese made it 2-1 with 13:21 to go in the second period on a feed after a turnover in the defensive zone.
