Sorry, day job got busy so we’re going with a quick post for this back-to-back.

The Blue Jackets got two important points last night, but it’s soured for me by the fact that they blew a 4-0 lead in the third period. You shouldn’t give up 4 goals in a period, ever!

The post-Olympics minicamp was supposed to give Rick Bowness a chance to reinforce and build upon the success the team had in the 11 games before the break. Instead, it feels like they have returned to their old habits. The coach remains optimistic that he can fix what’s wrong, but there’s not much time for that and there is still ground to make up (6 points to catch the Islanders, 3 to catch the Bruins).
