Game 57 Recap: Jackets 2 Penguins 1 (OT)

The Jackets defeated their Metro Division rivals in overtime in a potential playoff preview.

Sorry folks, like the quick takes, this post needs to be brief. Real life getting in the way and such.

Coles notes:

The Jackets and Pens played a hell of a game. It felt like a playoff game, with equal parts action and violence.

It took extra innings, but the Jackets prevailed. Ryan Murray scored in regulation, and Brandon Dubinsky scored in overtime to give the Jackets two wins and an overtime loss to the Pens this season.

The Jackets and Pens are destined to meet in the first round of the playoffs, and if the hockey is anything like we seen tonight, the series will be must-see-TV.

The Jackets are back at it Sunday against Ryan Johansen and the Predators.
