Kent Johnson
Speaking of sick, Kent Johnson is pretty sick. He’s just under a point per game, at 21 points in 23 games, including 10 goals and 15 points in December. Him scoring would be nice.
Jackets Notes
There’s a bit of drama around the goalie situation, as Daniil Tarasov reportedly refused a conditioning assignment to AHL Cleveland. He’s been bad. … Damon Severson was benched for the end of the Boston game, so we’ll see if he plays tonight, and how that effects the 11/7 vs 12/6 decision.
The Other Bench
The Hurricanes are also pretty sick, a fun team from top to bottom, but they’ve been slipping recently. They’ve lost three of their last five, including losses to the two teams above them in the Metro, New Jersey and Washington.
