Jet Greaves
Jet took the home net at practice this morning and is projected to start this evening. He was terrific in net against the Capitals on Thursday night, can we get a repeat performance against a lesser foe?
Jackets Notes
No word yet on Chinakhov or Danforth. Pyythia skating at the optional session this AM, I expect him to draw back in tonight. CBJ prospect Luca Pinelli has made the Canada WJC roster for this year over some more highly touted prospects like Anaheim’s recent 3rd overall pick, Beckett Sennecke.
The Other Bench
Anaheim is riding a 5 game losing streak heading into this one. No Trevor Zegras in the near future, he had surgery for a torn meniscus recently. Troy Terry has been a bright spot for the Ducks with 10 points in his last 9 games. Anaheim was the winner of the much discussed Trouba sweepstakes earlier this week. Whatever you think of the player, the Jackets will need to be aware of him when he’s on the ice.
We may see some changes on the back end for Anaheim tonight.
