Game 2- Jackets take on the Canucks
After defeating the Wild 2-1 on Saturday night, the Jackets travel to Vancouver to take on the Canucks. Vancouver currently sits at 0-2 after losses to Calgary and Colorado, assuredly making them a cranky bunch. The Jackets are icing the same lineup as Saturday, with Derek Dorsett and Mike Blunden sitting out as healthy scratches, Mike Commodore and Freddy Modin on the IR, and recently acquired Anton Stralman will sit out because he's not quite in game shape yet. Steve Mason will get the start.

From the Columbus Dispatch:
The Blue Jackets are 12-16-2-2 against Vancouver, including 5-10-0-1 in GM Place. This is
the first of four meetings this season.
The Blue Jackets' challenge tonight might simply be to survive the first 10 minutes against an 0-2 Canucks team desperate to perform well in its home opener. Columbus is 5-1-0 in its past six and 7-3-0- in its past 10 vs. Vancouver. The Canucks are contemplating lineup changes, but the top line will stay intact. That trio has generated 26 shots on goal in the first two games.
