With a little over two days until the start of free agency, it’s time to shift gears from the future to the present, leaving the draft behind and hoping that perhaps we’ll see a few more changes to help bring the team from “potential” to Playoffs.
Though it doesn’t sound like Howson’s going to be a huge gambler (Fourth line center? Really? That’s the big goal?), we’ve been surprised before, and it never hurts to dream, right?
With that in mind, here’s a quick link back to the Offseason Options posts we did – obviously some things are off the board now (though hat tip to Mike for correctly calling that the Rangers would trade Sanguinetti, even if we were wrong about where), but there’s still a lot of good info and players that were interesting targets for a trade or a free agency deal in May are still quite interesting now.
