Favorite Blue Jacket Tournament, Game 33

Two fan favorites from the early days

Reminder: You can click the link at the top of the page to view the previous match-ups, and vote on the remaining second round match-ups. Games 19 and 20 close at noon today.

Welcome to the third round! Starting with this round, we will have just one match-up per day. In this round, I am going to find highlights to represent each player’s time in Columbus.

Round 3, Game 33: Jody Shelley vs. Ron Tugnutt

Shelley: In this video, we see a rookie take on legendary enforcer Bob Probert 4 times over 2 games in 3 days. I’d say the kid held his own.

Tugnutt: Due to his playing in the pre-You Tube era, it is difficult to find good videos of Tugnutt’s time in Columbus. Here is a clip of him with a big save to preserve the first shutout in CBJ history.
