Just like their parent team, the Cleveland Monsters took it down to the wire before clinching a spot in the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs.
In a weird twist of fate, the Monsters will be playing the farm team of the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Syracuse Crunch.
They will play in a best of five series starting in Syracuse on Friday, April 19th.
Game 1 – Friday, April 19th – Cleveland at Syracuse- 7:00 p.m. at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena
Game 2 – Saturday, April 20th– Cleveland at Syracuse – 7:00 p.m. at the Oncenter War Memorial Arena
Game 3 – Tuesday, April 23rd – Syracuse at Cleveland – 7:30 p.m. EST at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse
If necessary, games four and five will take place on April 25th (at Cleveland) and April 27th (at Syracuse) at 7pm.
The first 5,000 fans at Cleveland’s home games, April 23rd and 25th, will receive a Playoff Rally Towel.
Just a heads up for Tuesday, April 23rd’s game at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the Cleveland Indians have a home game at 6:10pm. Be prepared to hunt for parking and pay a little bit more than you normally would during Monsters games.
If fans can’t attend games one and two in Syracuse, they can attend the Monsters Playoff Watch Party.

Leading up to the first home game of the 2019 Calder Cup Playoffs the Monsters are traveling around different parts of Cleveland in their Monsters Playoff Rally Caravan. You’ll get to hang out with the Monsters Hockey Girls and see the best mascot in the league, Sully. At the Caravan, fans will be able to pick up a free Fan Activation Kit filled with playoff yard signs, wristbands, and posters.
