Wherever you are, I hope you have survived mother nature’s worst this week. It’s been brutal in many parts of the country (and Canada) be it sub-zero temps or snow storms.
Trade rumors are heating up (see what I did there?) – Mark Letestu’s name is being linked to the Rangers, Jets, and Canadiens. If true, the front office clearly does not want to keep Test Tube around long term. Not sure what that means for Arty going forward, considering he was thought to be on his way to Edmonton earlier in the season. Highly unlikely both are moved, but rumors are just rumors for now. Keep an eye out if something does happen on this front. On to the links:

Portzline said in yesterday’s Dispatch chat that the city sent a bid package in 2005/2006, but that to land the event a smaller (3,000-4,000 seat) arena would need to be built for the non-USA/Canada games.
