Cannon Blasts : Don’t Believe Us? Just Watch!

Good Morning!

It’s the Cleveland Indians home opener. So, you know what that means?! IT SNOWED LAST NIGHT!!

The snow is good for our hockey teams. It keeps their mind on the ice and not on a beach in Florida. Maybe this snow will help propel the Cleveland Monsters and Columbus Blue Jackets into the playoffs. Both teams are so close to clinching a spot we can taste it.

Due to the push for playoffs, the Jackets have reeled us back in again. We just can’t seem to quit the Blue Jackets.

Either the Monsters or the Jackets will make the playoffs. Maybe both. Don’t believe us? Just watch.

In more shocking news, the staff at The Cannon finally agreed on something. Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre would be the perfect replacement for Davidge.

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets are hot right now. Who would have thought they would be on a win streak towards the end of the season.

On March 26th, the Jackets took care of business and shut out the New York Islanders, 4-0.

The Blue Jackets kept the fire power going on Thursday with a huge 6-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Saturday brought another high scoring game from the Jackets. They took down the Nashville Predators, 5-2.

Sunday. Oh Sunday. The Jackets proved just how hot they are with a 4-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

The push for playoffs has been fun!!

Cleveland Monsters

Another team on the push for playoffs is the Cleveland Monsters. They split the weekend with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, 1-0-0-1. Taking three out of four points helped keep them in the race for the playoffs.
