Cam Atkinson and Seth Jones to Represent Columbus Blue Jackets at All Star Game

The NHL announced the 2019 All Star rosters tonight and the Columbus Blue Jackets will have two representatives. Cam Atkinson and Seth Jones were named as the team’s representatives and will be present on January 26, 2019 in San Jose at the SAP Center.

Cam Atkinson will be making his second All Star game appearance after also making the team as injury replacement for Evgeni Malkin in 2017 (he was snubbed in the first place from that roster). Cam this season leads the team in goals with 24 while also notching 18 assists.

Seth Jones will also be appearing in the game for Columbus. After being chosen to his second consecutive All Star Game last season, Jones was forced to withdraw with an illness and was replaced by partner Zach Werenski. As a result, this is Jones’ third consecutive selection and second time participating. This season, Jones has 6-17-23 to lead all defensemen on the team in points and trails only Drew Doughty in minutes played per game this season.

Below are the full rosters:

Congratulations to Cam Atkinson and Seth Jones!
