Brandon Dubinsky to Miss 4-6 Weeks Due to Strained Oblique
The Blue Jackets’ third-line center will miss more than a month.
After leaving Sunday practice late with reported “discomfort,” we now know what ailed Columbus Blue Jackets’ center Brandon Dubinsky; a strained oblique, and he’ll miss a month or more.

Dubinsky is one of only two Blue Jackets, along with Artemi Panarin, to record points in each of the first two games of the season this year and ranks third in CF% (62.7%) and FF% (68.2%) of all CBJ skaters.
It hasn’t been the luckiest start health wise for the Jackets, who are already down a couple of defensemen in Seth Jones and Scott Harrington to IR.
