Blue Jackets vs. Capitals: Grubauer to Start Game Two

The goaltender gets a chance to redeem his game one performance.

After the Washington Capitals fell to your Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 in overtime on Thursday night, Capitals coach Barry Trotz was non-commital when he was asked about his goaltending situation.

Today, the Capitals confirmed that Philipp Grubauer will indeed get the start in Game Two.

Grubauer saved 23 of 27 shots on Thursday night.

The Blue Jackets now know the opposing netminder for Sunday’s Game Two. Can the team put four goals past him again and come home with a commanding 2-0 series lead?
