The 2010 CHL playoffs are underway, and of the Jackets’ six prospects playing in the CHL, five made the playoffs. Kyle Neuber-future enforcer- was traded to the Sarnia Sting mid-season. The Sting were the worst team in the OHL this season, and didn’t qualify for the playoffs. Neuber’s junior career has come to an end, and I look for him to join Syracuse for the rest of the season. His final numbers are 5 goals, 5 assists for 10 points in 60 games played. He went minus-16 and put up 188 penalty minutes- mostly fighting majors. Here’s a look at the five prospects who’s team did qualify for the post-season:

The NCAA Hockey tournament, a 16-team, single-elimination bracketed tournament is set to start this Friday. Of the twelve CBJ prospects playing college hockey, seven are taking part in the tournament.
