Best Goals of the 2019 AHL-All Star Challenge

Last night’s AHL All-Star Classic was a fun night filled with glorious goals, stellar stick-handling, and spectacular saves.

Each game during the All-Star Classic had at least one incredible goal. Two of those goals were set up by the team’s netminder.

It was tough to narrow down the best saves and goals of the All-Star Classic. So, I picked one that stood out the most from each game.

Game 1: Central (1) vs Atlantic (3)

It took two and a half minutes for the first goal of the AHL All Star Classic to be scored.

Denis Gurianov was in the right place at the right time for this shot.

Game 2: Pacific (4) vs North (2)

In the second game, Kevin Boyle shined for the Pacific setting up a beautiful goal for the Pacific division.

Game 3: Central (2) vs North (4)

Tic Tac Toe! Daniel Carr tied things up at two for Central with this little ditty.

Game 4: Pacific (2) vs Atlantic (5)

Another great play by a netminder led to a goal in this year’s All-Star Classic. This time it was Montembleaut who set up John Gilmour with a breakaway.

Game 5: Central (5) vs Pacific (3)

This filthy between the legs move by Matt Donovan put the Central up 2-1 in game 5.

Game 6: North (4) vs Atlantic (1)

Nathan Gerbe score 12 seconds into game six and it was pretty awesome.

Championship: North (1) vs Atlantic (0)

Since there was a member of the Monsters playing in the Championship round, you know it had to go into a shootout.

Trevor Moore wrapped things up for the North in the fourth round of the shootout with a nice tap through the five-hole.
