Adam Clendening Signs with Jackets

The Columbus Blue Jackets signed Adam Clendening to a one-year, two-way contract. He will make $700k in the NHL and $300k in the AHL with a $400k guarantee.

Adam Clendening has been a journeyman for the past few seasons bouncing from team to team. Since the 2014-15 season, he has played for six different organizations. One of those organizations Clendening played for twice.

Since being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2011, Clendening has spent most of his time in the AHL scoring 161 points in 261 games.

During the Rockford IceHogs 2018 postseason run, Clendening tore the leaderboard up by tallying the most assists (13) and points (14) by an AHL defender in the playoffs.
