After a rough start to the season against the Nashville Predators in Tennessee, the Blue Jackets finally hit the win column for the first time with a victory at the Detroit Red Wings on Martin Luther King Jr. Day! It was good seeing the offense maybe begin to hit their stride including goals from Pierre-Luc Dubois, Alexandre Texier, and Oliver Bjorkstrand.
In this edition of The Cannon Cast we talk about:
- Thoughts on the first three games between the Predators and Red Wings
- Pierre-Luc Dubois and team hitting their stride?
- Best friends University of Michigan teammates Zach Werenski and Dylan Larkin renew friendship
- Final thoughts
and much more!

Zach Werenski on his scrap with childhood friend Dylan Larkin, who left Z tickets for his parents today: "I didn't get hit, so I'll take it as a win."

Werenski said the buddies were kind of laughing during it, but he was trying to win the fight. His phone is blowing up now. #CBJ
Also, NHL has added a goalie point! Love to see it. Joonas Korpisalo gets the second helper on PLD's third-period goal. I am always in favor of goalie points. #CBJ
