Without Blue Jackets hockey — for now? — we discuss the other hot topic in sports. ESPN’s 10-part series, The Last Dance, chronicling the G.O.A.T.: Michael Jordan and his Chicago Bulls dynasty of the 90s, concluded on Sunday. On this week’s The Cannon Cast, we dive into the documentary including:

  • Initial thoughts on the The Last Dance
  • The Jerry Krause dynamic and his perception
  • And best hockey dynasties?

I listen to ESPN 1000 out of Chicago and they did a great job talking about, interviewing the guests, and breaking down The Last Dance. This montage from the documentary of MJ’s best moments from one of my favorite ESPN 1000 personalities is a great listen.

I also talked with ESPN 1000’s Chris Bleck (starting at 0:50 mark) and Randy Mirkin (starting at 19:12 mark) in separate interviews and we also touched on the The Last Dance.

Our theme music is the song “Green Eyes,” by Angela Perley and the Howlin’ Moons off of their album “Homemade Vision.” Angela’s newest album is called “4:30” and you should listen to it! Check her out at angelaperley.com, and you should also check out Angela Perley on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for videos and live-streamed concerts from her home during this stay at home period.
