The Columbus Blue Jackets entered the 2019 NHL Entry Draft with just two picks. After a trade with the Florida Panthers, the team acquired a third. With their final scheduled pick of the draft, the Jackets used their seventh rounder (212th overall, from Calgary via Ottawa) to select Tyler Angle.
With #CBJ’s seventh round pick, 212th overall, the club selects 5-9, 168-pound center Tyler Angle from Thorold, Ontario. The 18-year-old had 20-24-44 in 58 games with The OHL’s Windsor Spitfires.
