The Columbus Blue Jackets entered the 2019 NHL Entry Draft with just two picks. After a trade with the Florida Panthers, the team acquired a third. With their final scheduled pick of the draft, the Jackets used their seventh rounder (212th overall, from Calgary via Ottawa) to select Tyler Angle.

The diminutive center from Thorold, Ontario has played the last three years for the Windsor Spitfires.

Welcome to Columbus, Tyler!
