Like we’ve done before, here is another offseason open thread. Discuss the ongoing playoff matchups here.

In the East, our division foe the Carolina Hurricanes look to continue their Cinderella streak against the team that eliminated the Blue Jackets, the Boston Bruins. The Jerks get a little bit of help tonight with the suspension to Charlie McAvoy for his hit on Josh Anderson.

In the West, the St. Louis Blues face the San Jose Shark in the battle of saintly cities. The Blues were in last place in January and have been red-hot since then, in large part to the efforts of rookie goaltender Jordan Binnington. San Jose, meanwhile, has many vets who have been down this road before. Could this be Joe Thornton’s last chance at a Cup?

Boston/Carolina kicks off tonight, while the St. Louis/San Jose series starts on Saturday night. The full schedule can be found here.

Which bandwagon are you on now that the CBJ are eliminated?
