NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets at Boston Bruins Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

The Columbus Blue Jackets kicked off their four game road trip in Massachusetts as they traveled to face the Boston Bruins on the second night of a back to back.

Joonas Korpisalo got the start, and Nick Foligno missed the game for a personal matter (unrelated to his daughter).

Here’s what happened.

First Period

Boston struck first as Patrice Bergeron scored a power play goal with just over five minutes gone in the first.

Matt Duchene powered his way to the net and equalized with less than three minutes to go on just Columbus’ fifth shot of the night.

Second Period

Some shots. No goals.

1-1 heading to the third period.

Third Period

still no goals!

Brad Marchand won it for Boston
