We record the Cannon Cast every Monday night. We found the Columbus Blue Jackets limping into the week, and it turns out that talking about all their foibles while they stomped Washington just might be what cures them. We recap our visits to see the Blue Jackets face the Rangers and the Panthers, before discussing what’s missing with the forward group. We dive into some numbers, try to put our fingers on the inconsistency issues and look ahead to this week. We also talk about television, because of course.

  • What was it like to see last Thursday’s Rangers game in person?
  • How was Seeds’s trip to the BB&T Center?
  • Why is this forward group so lacking?
  • Do the CBJ have any good excuses for this year?
  • What do expected goals say about this team
  • What do we want from the week ahead?

...plus a lot more.

Our theme music is the song “Green Eyes,” by Angela Perley and the Howlin’ Moons off of their album “Homemade Vision.” Angela’s newest album is called “4:30” and you should listen to it! Go check her out at angelaperley.com.
