The Columbus Blue Jackets played their eight seven preseason games and we at The Cannon Cast can preview real, actual NHL games now! We’re discussing who we’re excited to see on the Blue Jackets roster and who may not be ready just yet. We also preview the Atlantic Division this in our NHL preview series, where takes abound and this may or may not be Tampa Bay’s year.

In this episode, we also talk about:

  • Will not playing that last preseason game cause some rust?
  • How will this team fare on Friday?
  • Who are we excited about making the team?
  • Can Emil Bemstrom fix the power play?
  • Has Sonny Milano taken a step back?
  • Is this another lost season in Ottawa?
  • Will Steve Yzerman save the Red Wings?
  • Have the Sabres failed Jack Eichel?
  • Do the Canadiens have enough?
  • Will Toronto have to worry about the cap or just compete?
  • Will Boston win the East again?
  • Can Tampa Bay get past the first round?

...plus a lot more.
