Coyne put up a 14.226 in yesterday's testing. Fresh off a five hour flight, with no warmup.
In 2016, Dylan Larkin won the competition, setting the record with a 13.172. McDavid won the last two seasons.
Kendall Coyne Schofield got us started, and she was incredible. All the stick taps for the gold medal winner and the first female to compete in the NHL Skills Competition, she deserved her spot.

Seth Jones ended Andre Vasilevskiy’s save streak with a nifty shootout move. He should shoot ahead of Alex Wennberg forever now, them’s the rules.

Oh, and Seth went three out of four in this competition, scoring triple the number of goals in this event that Wennberg has this season.
this guy has more goals in this event than Alexan...ummm... pic.twitter.com/dEelKWwSMq
