2019 NHL Entry Draft: Columbus Blue Jackets select Eric Hjorth with 104th pick

The Columbus Blue Jackets have been quiet at the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, thanks to their lack of picks entering the weekend.

Coming into Saturday’s draft, the team held just two picks, the first of which being #81 overall in the third round.

The Jackets traded that pick to Florida once they were on the clock.

With the 104th overall pick, the Jackets then selected Eric Hjorth, a Swedish defenseman.

Hjorth, a 6-3 192 pound right shot defenseman, has played in the Linkoping system. His stats are as follows.

Welcome to Columbus, Eric!
