2017-18 Season

In 43 games with HV71 in the Swedish Hockey League, Stenlund scored 7 goals and added 15 assists. After the defending champs were bounced from the playoffs, Stenlund joined the Cleveland Monsters for 7 games, tallying 2 assists and no goals.

2018-19 Forecast

Stenlund will get to participate in Blue Jackets training camp, but will start the season with the Cleveland Monsters. He needs that time to acclimate to the North American game, but with his size I’m excited to see if he can thrive in a top 6 role. He may get to suit up for Columbus at some point for a game or two, but 2019-20 will be the earliest we can expect him to be a regular contributor for the Jackets.
