Cleveland Monsters, 27-24-3-4; 61 points; 5th Central; 9th West
San Antonio Rampage, 21-32-4-1, 47 points, 8th Pacific, 16th West
Both the Monsters and Rampage are heading into today's game with the same thing on their mind; streaks.
The Monsters are looking to extend their two-game win streak while the Rampage are trying to put an end to their 12 game lose streak.
Even though the Rampage are currently in second to last place in the league, the Monsters have to take them seriously. Why? They have yet to win a game against the Rampage this season. The Rampage have scored a total of eight goals spread evenly across two games against the Monsters. Hopefully, the Monsters will hold the Rampage back from scoring four goals. When the Rampage score four goals they are 7-2-1-0.
Akim Aliu is on fire. He's scored four points in the past three games. Three of those points are goals.
The possible return of Zac Dalpe should help fill the hole T.J. Tynan left when he was called up by the Jackets.
The Monsters will need to keep an eye on Rocco Grimaldi, AJ Greer, and Colin Smith. Not only are they the top three scorers on the team, they are the top three playmakers and momentum changers.
