FIRST PERIOD (AKA WHEN THE JACKETS DOMINATED)

The good news? Ryan Murray was back in the lineup.

The bad news? He lasted just 1:44 before blocking a shot with his hand. He would leave the game and not return.

CBJ Goal: Nick Foligno, and it was a beauty:

SECOND PERIOD (AKA WHEN THE JACKETS ALLOWED BUFFALO TO STEAL MOMENTUM)

Just 18 seconds into the period, and after a goalie change for Buffalo, Jake McCabe got his team on the board.

With Jack Johnson in the box Matt Moulson potted a rebound to cut the lead to one.

With 2.9 seconds left in the second, Sam Reinhart scored through a screen to tie the game.

THIRD PERIOD (AKA COMEBACK COMPLETE FOR THE SABRES)

With Boone Jenner serving a penalty in the latter stages of the game, Evander Kane scored on the back door to give his team the lead. Jack Eichel would score an empty netter to make the final score 5-3 for Buffalo.
