Quick Takes: Jackets at Penguins

Columbus managed to salvage a point on the road.

NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets at Pittsburgh Penguins Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Jackets were the lesser team for most of this game. The good news? They battled and tied the game in regulation. A penalty in overtime resulted in a powerplay game winner for the Antarctic flightless birds, but the point in the standings on the road is just terrific.

Phil the Thrill aka Phil the Hot Dog Eater aka I’d love to have Kessel on the #CBJ scored in regulation and again in overtime.

The Jackets got goals from Dubinsky, Wennberg and Atkinson in a losing cause, but I can’t stress enough the value of the point the Jackets earned on the road tonight.
