Nashville struck early with a goal by Ryan Ellis.

After that the Jackets dominated play but couldn’t find the back of the net.

The second period was wild, with each team scoring two goals. Kevin Fiala scored off an awful turnover by Alexander Wennberg and an overly aggressive play by Sergei Bobrovsky. The Jackets responded a minute later with a deflection goal by Brandon Saad.

After Calle Jarnkrok scored to extend the lead again again the Jackets rallied and BJORKSTRAND scored a snipe off a beauty of a pass from Wennberg.

The Jackets opened the third with a goal by Zach Werenski to tie it up.

After that Matt Calvert left the game with an injury and the Jackets started to show fatigue. Matthias Ekholm scored the game-winner at the 9:09 mark and this time the Jackets could not come back.

Full recap to come in the morning
