Goal Recap

The Monsters and Wild battled hard through two periods of play ending up scoreless.

It wasn't until the beginning of the third period that we would see a goal.

Three minutes and 44 seconds into the third period, John Ramage fired off a shot that bounced off of Alex Stalock's pad. New guy, Kyle Thomas was in the right place at the right time to pound the rebound into the back of the net.

With 40 seconds left in the game, T.J. Tynan stole the puck from the Wild and fired from the top of the Monsters circle directly into the empty net.

But Wait! There's More

Quick Thoughts

  • Yet again Joe Pendenza stepped up in tonight's game. He's been a quiet player but the plays Pendenza has been able to set up are incredible.
  • When on the ice at the same time, John Ramage and Marc-Andre Bergeron are like the 1992 Dream Team. They communicate well together and aren't afraid to throw their bodies around to break up plays.
  • Blake Siebenaler had another outstanding game as right wing. He's filling the role well. It's clear playing right wing is helping Siebenaler's all around game. It will be interesting to see how he is able to go back into the defender role once Sonny Milano is activated off the IR.
