Game Faceoff

Columbus comes into this game on the heels of a win in Arizona on Saturday night. A win that Arizona will not be happy about letting slip through their fingers, as Mike Smith played out of his damn mind en route to a 57 save effort over the course of the game.

Tonight, Arizona will likely be looking for revenge for Saturday night. Columbus, which has been outstanding on home ice, looks to keep their mojo flowing.

According to Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch, the Blue Jackets have a chance to make history tonight. On the line is the club’s 500th victory (the team currently sits at 499-570-33-117). How cool would that be?

Markus Hannikainen has been sent back to Cleveland as Matt Calvert returned healthy. No other lineup changes are expected tonight. Sergei Bobrovsky figures to be back between the pipes.

Go Jackets.
