Alexander Wennberg made a nifty kick pass to Oliver Bjorkstrand at one point against the Penguins.

Thus ends the offensive highlights of last night’s game.

This was a pretty poor game all around, leading coach Brad Larsen to comment that the game was underwhelming, particularly from the guys who are competing for spots with the big club. Oliver Bjorkstrand struggled in particular last night against the Penguins.
The other note? Dalton Prout does not deserve third pairing minutes, and partnering him with Zach Werenski could seriously hurt the prize first rounder’s development. Prout, still king of the turnover and slow reactions, appeared to take a knee for some reason, and consistently misplayed two on two rushes from the Penguins.
None of the results matter, of course, but trends (and continuations of them) are notable.
