Didn’t we just play these guys?

On October 15, the Blue Jackets played their second game of the season at home against these Sharks. It was a 3-2 loss that left us feeling better about this team than the opening disappointment against Boston.

Since that game, San Jose went 1-3 on the remainder of their road trip. Back home on Tuesday, they scored a 2-1 overtime win against Anaheim.

The Blue Jackets, meanwhile, have earned points in all 3 games since playing the Sharks. They’ve earned 3 points in the first half of this 4 game road trip.

In lineup news, based on the lines Jody Shelley reported from the morning skate, Boone Jenner has earned his way back up to a top line, with Calvert back with Karlsson and Anderson on the “energy” line and Hartnell down with Sedlak and Gagner.
