2014 NHL Draft: Jackets Select Julien Pelletier 107th Overall

The Jackets dipped into the "Q" to take offensive winger Julien Pelletier.

With their fourth round pick, the Jackets selected Cape Breton winger Julien Pelletier. He's not the biggest kid- 5'11", 179lbs- but he can put up points.

Scouting report and stats:

Pelletier is a skilled forward who has quick creative hands and impressive playmaking abilities. He makes good reads and has good instincts in the offensive zone. Some areas that will need improvement in his game include his skating and overall strength. - Elite Prospects

I like that selfishly I'll be able to watch this kid a ton, as he plays a few hours away in Cape Breton, who make a ton of trips down to Halifax to play the Mooseheads. He's a classic Q scorer, a kid to keep tabs on. Like this pick a lot.
