Game Thread #31 - Blue Jackets vs. Flames

New, comments

The Jackets close up shop at Nationwide Arena for a bit playing host to the Flames and looking for a third win in a row and/or a 12th straight game with at least a point.

Well, Columbus folks, apparently there's a basketball game tonight. C'monnn... Iona? How long will that even be a game? Your Blue Jackets need you! They host the Flames tonight in their final game of a 10-of-12 stretch at home. As one of my friends who's a season ticket holder and goes to every game like religion told me, he kinda needs a break. Sure, you say that now. Talk to me when the boys are starting at 10 PM out in Western Canada!

Columbus will have to get it done without John Moore and Brandon Dubinsky, as the former is a healthy scratch and the latter is out due to a "setback" (per Todd Richards) with his knee injury. However, Sergei Bobrovsky again patrols the crease for Columbus.

The Flames come in reeling, losers in five of seven and riding a two game losing streak. They also played in Nashville last night. We know which team should be more rested...

So, yeah. Put down your brackets for a couple of hours and tune in for some hockey!
