2013 NHL Draft: Jackets Draft Alexander Wennberg 14th Overall

With the 14th pick of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, the Jackets draft Alexander Wennberg of Djurgarden.

With their first pick of the 2013 NHL Draft, the Jackets select Alexander Wennberg, from Djurgarden.

He gives the organization another talented young center, joining Artem Anisimov, Ryan Johansen and Boone Jenner. Wennberg projects as a 2/3 pivot, and is noted for his safe, all-around play. He has played on either wing as well, giving the Jackets serious flexibility.

I'm quite excited for this pick. The talent, the flexibility, his skating, his defensive ability- it's all there.
