Game 79: Hi, Do You Know Us...?

New, comments

I'll be honest, I tried to look to see if any famous Blues singers came from Columbus. I didn't know any, but that didn't mean they didn't exist...except after doing a bit of research, it seems they don't.

Not to say that Columbus doesn't have a decent Blues scene - actually, it seems there's a quite vibrant one - just nobody who really exploded on the national radar.

That said, we still have some interesting native sons and daughters. I mean, there's obviously Jack Nicklaus or Bobby Rahal, but there's also some really unexpected ones.

Majel Barrett? Yep.

Maggie Grace? She grew up in Worthington.

Lil' Bow Wow? Fo' shizzle.

I'm trying to figure out if the one that surprised me the most is Jeff Smith or Curtis LeMay.

St. Louis? Sure, they get Maya Angelou, Andreas Katsulas, Nelly, and Mark Twain, but none of them were ever involved with sending B-52s over Moscow. I think we win.

Anyhow, enough of this. It's the Jackets and the Blues. Juice in, Garon starting, Mayorov back to Springfield, and Nash doubtful. (Is anyone else starting to wonder if Nash's season is over?)The Blues are expected to start Halak, so hopefully the Jackets can put another utter hurting on him to end the season.
