Game 64 Open Thread: Down, but Not Out

New, comments

Man, last night sucked.

The Jackets simply must beat the teams below them in the standings. The Oilers are in full-spoiler mode, and took it to Columbus last night. Mase was anything but sharp, and the entire team look disjointed. You certainly can't pin this on the new guy- deadline acquisition Scottie Upshall scored for the second consecutive game since joining the team.

The Jackets head down the road to Calgary tonight to face the surging Flames. At this point we're not sure if Mase is starting, or if Arniel goes with Garon. If I'm the coach I put Mase right back into it. Show him that the team has confidence in him.

The Dispatch seems to think that we may see Craig Rivet inserted into the lineup. I think it may be a decent shot in the arm, but who sits in his place?

This will be a tough one, let's see if the Jackets are up to it. A loss tonight would be borderline disastrous.

Go Jackets.

Should Arniel go right back to Mase in the cage?
