Legein and All Stars

A couple of tidbits:

1) Stefan Legein, one of the Jackets' second round picks this past June, was signed to his entry-level contract. He started off extremely strong for the Niagara IceDogs. and while his scoring pace has cooled off a bit, he's still putting up great numbers.

He would add an element to the CBJ forwards that they have never really had. Sure, Tyler Wright was a great agitating type, and Boll is a maniac on skates, getting under the opposition's skin, but Legein has all of those qualities, and a nose for the net.

He had an outstanding Super Series, and should don the Team Canada sweater again at the upcoming World Junior tournament.

2) The NHL All Star ballots have been released, with the Jackets being represented by Nash and Leclaire. At this point, Leclaire has created enough of a buzz throughout the league that he should be one of the three goalies heading to Atlanta. If he can maintain his current level of play, even without all of the shutouts, he may even be the Western Conference starter.
