It's 91 days until the season opens, but we can help each other get through this! The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced that they will be introducing their new head coach at a press conference on Tuesday, June 8, at 3pm. While no formal confirmation has been made, the Dispatch has reported that Scott Arniel will become the club's 6th head coach.

According to Twitterer Everett_Duke, who says he got it from a patch manufacturer's catalog, that's the 10th anniversary logo for the CBJ. True? Hard to confirm, but it certainly looks like it. I'd expect to see the "official" logo unveiling at the NHL draft party down at Nationwide on June 25th.
