According to Marko Dano himself, he has signed his ELC and will most likely be playing for Springfield within the next week. This is a great move for his development, as Dano had been stuck on the 4th line on one of the worst teams in the KHL (HC Slovan). His ice time has fluctuated greatly, and this move will heavily benefit his development, as he will finally play on a team that is not so vastly overwhelmed by its competition. While Dano did not put up good numbers in the KHL the past two seasons, his WJC play for Slovakia the past two years has been very, very good. This is a smart move for both the organization and Dano, as it gives the CBJ more control over his development, and it puts Dano in an environment where he is more likely to develop and succeed.
